Having opened up a new restaurant in Manchester last Autumn, the Dishoom chain continues to expand outside of the capital. Its latest venture, the 8th in the chain, will open later this year in Birmingham, with a unit within the city’s new Paradise development selected as the location.
Dishoom, which offers breakfast, lunch and dinner menus, first opened its doors in Covent Garden in 2010 and has since opened six more restaurants. Five of these are in London, one in Edinburgh and most recently Manchester. Hugely popular, Dishoom’s restaurants are said to “pay homage to the Irani cafés and the food of all Bombay.”
